Controller for Powakaddy 2012 Freeway / Freeway Digital (with Green Encoder)
This controller is suitable for the following Powakaddy electric golf trolleys:
- 2012 Powakaddy Freeway (as in pic No. 1)
- 2012 Powakaddy Freeway Digital (as in pic No.2)
Important – this controller will only work with the above trolleys as long as they have the original type of Encoder in the handle. which is a green coloured PCB.
The classic symptoms of a Powakaddy that requires a new speed control unit are:
- The trolley is dead. and has died suddenly
- When you turn the potentiometer (switch). there is a clicking noise coming from under the trolley
- Occasionally a faulty controller can cause the trolley to be intermittent but more often than not the symptoms will be as in 1 & 2.
