Speed Control unit for Fraser Foldaway Electric Golf Trolley

New with 12 month warranty.
The speed controller on a Fraser Foldaway is the black box which is bolted onto the side of the battery tray.
If the polarity has been reversed on a Fraser (ie a battery has been connected to the trolley 'black to red' and 'red to black') then 99% of the time this will cause serious damage to the speed control box.
This control unit is for a Fraser that has the wiring loom running down the outside of the frame from the switch and directly into the control unit.
The classic symtom of a Fraser Foldaway that requires a new speed control unit is:

  • The trolley will only go at one speed. usually full speed. even when the switch is turned off – in other words as soon as you connect the battery. the trolley will shoot off at full speed even if the switch is in the off position.
  • However. sometimes if the controller is faulty then a Fraser will simply not move at all. On this occassion you can usually hear a faint 'humming' noise when you connect the battery to the trolley and turn on the potentiometer.

Trade-in Discounts

We offer Trade-in discounts on many of our Electric Golf Trolleys and Lithium Battery Packs.

How does it work?

Trolleys:

  1. Once you have chosen your preferred model, choose from the drop down menu “Yes I would Like to Receive a Trade-in Discount for my old Trolley”
  2. The relevant discount will now be removed from the price.
  3. Click on “Add to Cart” and proceed to Checkout where you can complete your purchase.
  4. Once you receive your new Trolley, remove it from the box and check that you are 100% happy with your purchase.
  5. Place your old trolley in the box 
  6. Please then email or phone us to tell us the make and model of your old trolley, and when would be a convenient day for us to send a courier to collect it. This can be any week day, and from a place of work if this is more convenient for you).

Your old golf trolley can be manual or electric, and in any condition (we don’t require your old battery).

Lithium Battery Packs:

  1. Once you have chosen your preferred Lithium Battery pack, choose from the drop down menu “Yes I would Like to Receive a Trade-in Discount for my old charger”
  2. The relevant discount will now be removed from the price.
  3. Click on “Add to Cart” and proceed to Checkout where you can complete your purchase.
  4. Once you have received your new Lithium Battery pack, please post your old battery charger to us (we don’t need the actual battery). Please include a note with your order number as a reference.
